الْعُمْرَةُ إِلَى الْعُمْرَةِ كَفَّارَةٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُمَا، وَالْحَجُّ الْمَبْرُورُ لَيْسَ لَهُ جَزَاءٌ إِلاَّ الْجَنَّةُ
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, “(The performance of) ‘Umrah is an expiation for the sins committed (between it and the previous one). And the reward of Hajj Mabrur (the one accepted by Allah) is nothing except Paradise.”
رسول اللہ ﷺ نے فرمایا: "ایک عمرہ دوسرے عمرے تک کے درمیان ہونے والے (صغیرہ) گناہوں کا کفارہ بن جاتا ہے، اور حجِ مبرور (مقبول حج) کا بدلہ جنت کے سوا کچھ نہیں۔" (صحیح بخاری، صحیح مسلم) آسان اردو میں: "ایک عمرے سے دوسرے عمرے تک کے درمیان کے گناہ معاف کر دیے جاتے ہیں، اور جو حج اللہ کے ہاں قبول ہو جائے، اس کا اجر صرف جنت ہے۔" نوٹ: علماء فرماتے ہیں کہ یہاں عموماً صغیرہ گناہوں کی معافی مراد ہے، جبکہ کبیرہ گناہوں کے لیے سچی توبہ ضروری ہے۔
