Frequently asked questions
The practical questions pilgrims from India ask us most — about visas, documents, who can travel and what to expect. Can't find your answer? Message us on WhatsApp.
Visa & documents
As of 2025–2026, Indian passport holders cannot apply for an Umrah visa directly through Nusuk. You must travel with a Saudi-authorised, licensed Umrah agent who handles the Nusuk-compliant visa, accommodation and transport on your behalf. We are licensed and manage the entire process for you.
A passport valid for at least six months, recent photographs, and any vaccination certificates required at the time of travel. We confirm the exact, up-to-date checklist for your group before booking.
Travel & logistics
Most packages run between 7 and 14 nights, typically split between Makkah and Madinah. We tailor the length to your budget, the season and how much time you wish to spend at each holy city.
Women travellers
Rules have eased in recent years and women may travel for Umrah within an organised group under current Saudi regulations. Requirements can change, so we confirm the latest position for your specific case before you book.
Health
Saudi Arabia periodically requires certain vaccinations (for example meningitis, and seasonal requirements). We share the current health and vaccination requirements with you well before departure.
General
No. Visiting Madinah and the Prophet's Mosque is highly virtuous ziyarat, but it is not one of the rites of Umrah. We include it in most itineraries because of its immense reward, while keeping the two clearly distinct.
It depends on your priorities. Ramadan carries the greatest reward (an Umrah in Ramadan equals a Hajj in reward) but is busiest and dearest; December–February is most comfortable; the weeks after Eid and the deep summer are quietest and best value.
